Placements24 is seeking a dedicated and energetic Retail Floor Supervisor to oversee the Randburg, Gauteng store. You will lead the sales floor, manage a team of sales associates, uphold high customer service standards, and maintain visual merchandising to drive sales and brand reputation.

The role emphasizes coaching, training, and collaboration with store leadership to execute promotions and inventory plans.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Retail Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Knowledge of retail sales techniques and visual merchandising principles.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and results-driven approach.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education is an advantage.
• Residing in or willing to work in the Randburg, Gauteng area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide sales associates on the retail floor to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor customer traffic and ensure prompt assistance is provided to shoppers.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and address customer inquiries or concerns.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation standards are met and consistently upheld.
• Assist in managing inventory levels, stock replenishment, and organization of the sales floor.
• Support the Store Manager in implementing sales strategies and promotions.
• Train and onboard new sales associates, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Ensure adherence to store policies, safety regulations, and loss prevention procedures.
• Handle opening and closing procedures as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth store operations.
• Foster a positive and motivated team environment on the sales floor.
• Observe and report on customer behavior and sales trends.
