Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is looking for a Sales Floor Manager to lead daily store operations and coach a diverse team. You will supervise staff, maintain a clean, organized sales floor, and ensure strong customer service while managing cash handling and opening/closing duties.

You will drive merchandise flow, pricing accuracy, and store compliance with safety policies, while working to meet revenue targets and budget goals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Leadership, team building and mentoring experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supervises, and motivates store employees to ensure merchandise flow on the sales floor daily.
• Coaches, trains, develops, and leads the store team; supports staffing.
• Ensures compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains a positive store image with fresh product and excellent customer service.
• Manages receiving, pricing, displaying of store merchandise.
• Opens/closes the store; balances cash and handles all cash in store.
• Maintains a clean, hazard-free store through daily upkeep.
• Performs duties of all store personnel including cash register operation.
• Conducts hourly floor checks and daily store walkthroughs; leads meetings.
• Works toward revenue and expense budgets and budgeted goals.
• Assists in scheduling and coaching for adequate coverage.
