Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor in Denton, TX to lead a team delivering an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced home improvement environment. You will coach associates, manage daily tasks including stocking, merchandising, and safety, greet customers, identify solutions, and close sales while maintaining store standards and team morale.

This role requires morning/evening shifts, strong communication, and ability to supervise cross-functional teams and partner

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of retail experience OR 5 years of retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach associates to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Assist with down stocking, area recovery, and input into merchandising decisions.
• Supervise safety practices and lifting techniques; coach staff on safe behaviors.
• Greet customers, clarify needs, identify solutions, and close sales; manage customer-facing activities.
• Oversee non-customer facing tasks (inventory, store coverage) and communicate with leadership to raise concerns and morale.
