Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate at TJ Maxx in Tulsa, OK to maintain a clean, organized environment and operate floor care equipment. You’ll support store operations, assist in multiple areas, and promote a positive customer experience.

You will be responsible for floor care, safety compliance, and teamwork across departments. The role requires physical stamina, flexibility, and strong communication to meet store needs and policy standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without accommodation.
• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized store environment with focus on floor care.
• Operate scrubber and buffer; perform dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot cleaning.
• Follow safety, health, and loss prevention standards; support multiple store areas as needed.
• Cross-train to assist in Backroom, Front End, Sales Floor and more.
• Support Front End coverage and uphold merchandising signage standards.
• Participate in store recovery and maintain clean, safe conditions.
