Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. HomeGoods store in Ridgefield, CT is seeking a team member to maintain a clean and organized store environment with emphasis on floor care.

You will operate the scrubber and buffer, handle dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and window cleaning while upholding safety and loss-prevention standards. You will also cross-train in multiple store areas to support daily needs, provide excellent customer service, and contribute to a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and operate floor equipment.
• Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate scrubber and buffer, dust mop, damp mop, sweep, vacuum, dust and spot-clean glass and windows.
