Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead customer service excellence at our Texas stores. You will educate customers on product options, perform transactions, and uphold regulatory standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include handling cash, answering inquiries, supervising front-end teammates, and ensuring accuracy in daily reconciliations. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and a commitment to our core values of accountability

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling.
Strong customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work autonomously.
Must have own transportation, valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

Educate customers on the product portfolio and options that meet their needs.
Escalate issues to store manager or district leadership when needed.
Answer telephone inquiries and assist with customer applications and requests.
Perform outbound sales, courtesy, and collection calls in compliance with regulations.
Handle currency and cash, balance daily receipts, and assist with bank deposits.
Process transactions including loans, check cashing, and Net Spend per policy.
Comply with federal/state regulations and company procedures.
Complete mandatory compliance trainings and other duties as assigned.
