Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support 5-6 retail stores in the assigned geographic area. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial RTUs and split systems, plus general maintenance across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, flooring, roofing, and more.

A company vehicle, gas card, tools, iPad, and iPhone are provided. You will perform day-to-day repairs, review work orders, estimate time/materials, order supplies, and use CMMS

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years of related experience and/or trade school training.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to operate a full-size van/truck.
• Universal CFC or EPA certification preferred.
• Excellent communications skills (oral and written).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day repairs, emergency and preventive maintenance and records activities.
• Reviews work orders; estimates time and materials; orders supplies; uses CMMS to manage work orders.
• Leads troubleshooting and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, roofs, drains.
• Inspects installations for building code compliance and safety.
• Inspects building systems (fire alarms, HVAC/R, plumbing) for operational conditions.
• Oversees and inspects work by outside contractors.
• Maintains lighting system; performs furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed.
• Responds to emergencies and communicates daily activity via PDA.
