Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. Store in Southbury, CT is seeking a team member to deliver friendly customer service, help customers find products, and ensure a fast checkout experience.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, processing returns, and supporting omnichannel services such as BOPIS and SFS. Candidates should have retail or customer service experience, be capable of standing for long periods, and be comfortable with lifting and moving merchandise.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout experience and cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and participate in omnichannel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, planogram (POGs), and store recovery tasks.
• Support shrink control and safety programs and follow SOPs.
