Job summary

The Container Store in Pittsburgh is seeking a friendly Retail Employee / Project Specialist to welcome customers, propose storage solutions, and process sales with a focus on exceptional service. You will assist with curbside orders, stock the floor, and maintain store presentation to brand standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills and cash handling.
• Able to engage customers and multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets all customers at the front entrance or throughout the store.
• Connects with customers throughout the store to suggest storage solutions.
• Designs and sells custom closets and other storage solutions.
• Serves as a register with focus on providing a great customer experience during check out.
• Introduces and enrolls customers in our rewards program.
• Maintains the Sales Floor – keeping shelves full and presented according to our brand standards.
• Supports carryout to customers' cars whether through curbside or in the parking lot.
• Organizes the stockroom, ensuring it is well-maintained to support selling efforts.
• Adheres to time expectations and performs tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
