Job summary

Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Staff (Non-Driving) in Dallas to deliver a welcoming shopping experience and share the Girl Scouts story. You will handle sales, returns, exchanges, gift cards, and inventory transfers in a POS system, and support merchandising and events.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, retail or POS experience, strong math and communication skills, and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Experience with a POS system and cash handling is a plus.
• Strong mathematical ability for transactions and reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Tell the Girl Scouts story and engage potential members and families.
• Perform all facets of retail sales operations using the POS system, including sales, returns, exchanges, and gift cards.
• Handle inventory transfers between locations and assist with merchandising.
• Support events (mobile pop-up shops and special events) and program space setup.
• Maintain clean displays and accurate receipt of payments, deposits if needed.
• Assist Troop Leaders with space setup and on-site technology.
