Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a frontline supervisor for our Sierra store in Strongsville, OH.

You will guide Associates to deliver a highly-satisfied customer experience, train staff, and manage cash handling while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards. This role requires flexibility to work evenings/weekends, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead in a fast-paced retail environment at our Strongsville location.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent degree preferred.
• Available to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work as a team member and provide direction to others.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to lift heavy merchandise with/without accommodations.
• Experience as a coordinator or retail/supervisory role preferred.
• Able to run a register and handle money with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a highly-satisfied customer experience and loyalty.
• Drives programs and initiatives to boost customer satisfaction.
• Trains and mentors Associates on policies and procedures.
• Manages cash controls and change funds for the frontline.
• Coordinates breaks and assigns registers for optimal coverage.
• Maintains frontline cleanliness and merchandising standards.
• Monitors frontline equipment and reports issues.
