Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Retail & eCommerce Operations Specialist in Davidson, NC. The role focuses on administering MAP and the Authorized Online Reseller Program (AORP), while coordinating with Pricing, Sales, Legal and Channel partners to ensure policy compliance and efficient operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer MAP program: monitor pricing, investigations, compliance records, and reporting.
• Oversee Authorized Online Reseller Program: applications, onboarding, renewals, documentation.
• Monitor reseller compliance and support audits across marketplaces.
• Serve as primary ops contact for pricing, listings, product setup, content and compliance issues.
• Support retailer setup, assortment updates, transitions, channel readiness, and SOPs.
• Develop and distribute MAP, reseller activity, and performance reports.
• Analyze channel data to improve execution and partner satisfaction.
• Drive governance by standardizing policies and implementing new systems.

Job Overview

The Retail & eCommerce Operations Specialist is responsible for the administration, execution, and continuous improvement of retail and eCommerce channel programs that support profitable growth and channel compliance. This role serves as the primary operational resource for the company's Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) Program, Authorized Online Reseller Program (AORP), and other day-to-day channel support activities. The position works closely with Channel Marketing, Sales, Pricing, Customer Care, Legal, and Distribution partners to ensure consistent policy enforcement, operational efficiency, and positive channel partner experiences.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) program by managing daily policy compliance, monitoring retail and online pricing violations, coordinating investigations and resolutions, maintaining compliance records, partnering with Pricing, Sales, Legal, and channel teams, and delivering leadership reporting and performance insights.
• Manage the Authorized Online Reseller Program (AORP) by overseeing reseller applications, approvals, onboarding, renewals, agreements, documentation, and authorized reseller databases.
• Monitor reseller compliance with program requirements and marketplace standards, coordinate reseller communications, and support audits of online sellers across key marketplaces.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for retail and eCommerce requests, coordinating resolution of pricing, listings, product setup, content, compliance, and program participation issues with internal teams and channel partners.
• Support retailer setup, assortment updates, product transitions, channel readiness, and maintain channel documentation, standard operating procedures, and training resources.
• Develop and distribute reporting on MAP compliance, reseller activity, retail performance, operational service metrics, forecasting, rebate tracking, and program measurement.
• Analyze recurring channel issues and operational data to provide actionable insights that improve channel execution, partner satisfaction, and overall process efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and governance initiatives by standardizing channel policies, supporting implementation of new systems and workflows, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2+ Years Excel Skills: Advanced Formulas and Functions - Using more complex formulas and functions, such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, IF, AND, OR, etc. Data Analysis
• 2+ Years experience in ecommerce/and or retail

Preferences

• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business
• Experience with ERP systems preferred. Examples - SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle NetSuite, etc..
• Performing basic data analysis tasks, such as creating charts and graphs, and using pivot tables.
• Data Validation - Using data validation to ensure data accuracy.
• Conditional Formatting - Using conditional formatting to highlight specific data patterns.
• Experience with B2B or B2C distribution. E-Commerce and retail a huge plus.

Travel & Work Arrangements / Requirements

This position will be based at our corporate offices in Davidson, NC, with minimal anticipated travel.
