Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking a dedicated Retail Processor for the Lees Summit Store - Ward team. The role supports donation intake, item sorting, pricing decisions, and delivers friendly customer service to shoppers and donors alike.

The position is full-time, hourly at $15.50 with a monthly bonus up to $250, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• No degree required; High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Math skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles all donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories: sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash.
• Inspects items to distinguish quality for sales, recycling, or online.
• Identify and price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain high quality and quantity standards while working quickly.
• Stocks, straighten, rotate, and clean the store area.
• Provide positive customer service interactions in person and over the phone.
• Build professional relationships with team members and leadership.
• Follow safe work practices and keep aisles clear of obstructions.
• Maintain professional appearance per dress code.
• Safeguard agency assets; report theft or incidents.
• Adhere to all policies and safety regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
• Monthly Bonus up to $250.00
