Job summary

MERS Missouri Goodwill Industries in Lawrence, KS is hiring an energetic Retail Processor to join our team. The position offers hourly full-time hours, with a starting rate of $15.50 per hour and a monthly bonus potential up to $250, plus available medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits.

Responsibilities include processing donations, organizing merchandise, pricing items, and providing excellent customer service. No degree required; HS diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• No degree required; HS diploma/GED preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and management.
• Must be organized and capable of interacting with a diverse work population.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Handles donations with care and respect.
• Sorts donated and purchased goods into categories (sales floor, seasonal, online, outlet, trash).
• Inspects items to determine quality for sales, recycling, or online.
• Prices items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintains store cleanliness and stock levels; helps customers and donors.
• Upholds safety, policies, and professional standards.
