Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Project Design Manager in the United States to lead a national retail rollout program, guiding strategic design planning and execution. You will translate business objectives into scalable, code-compliant design solutions, align with brand standards, and mentor a team of designers to ensure consistent delivery across a high-volume project portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from a NAAB or CIDA-accredited institution.
• 7+ years of design experience across multiple real-estate formats.
• 5+ years of Revit experience; proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Working knowledge of IBC and ADA requirements for drawing review and compliance.
• Ability to pivot between management and production tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with internal partners and external clients.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design Program Management: manage design direction across real estate types to support business function and user experience.
• Design Standards Governance: maintain standards, prototype guidelines, and planning criteria for consistency with flexibility for site needs.
• Program Alignment: coordinate design requirements across multiple project types to stay aligned with client priorities.
• Process Optimization: translate lessons learned into scalable design processes and standards.
• Design Team Leadership: lead and develop the design team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Analytics & Reporting: use data to measure performance and provide leadership with actionable recommendations.
