Job summary

Sunshine Ace Hardware is hiring a Retail Delivery Driver (non-CDL) for our Founders Square location in Naples, FL. This full-time role involves local deliveries of grills and small items using a company box truck and assisting in store operations as needed.

You will load/unload, assemble grills, interact with customers, and maintain safety and reliability in all weather. A Florida driver's license and clean record are required; experience a customer-service mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely load, unload and move products in a customer-focused manner.
• Ability to assemble grills and other small items.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to drive in adverse weather safely and follow traffic rules.
• Experience operating a box delivery truck is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform local deliveries to commercial and residential customers.
• Assist in other store operations such as grill assembly and stocking.
• Provide Sunshine Ace’s famous customer service during deliveries.

Your Role

• Local deliveries driving a company-provided box truck containing BBQ grills and other small items,
• Complete customer (commercial & residential) deliveries for our Downtown Naples location (non-CDL)
• Assist in other store operations such as assembling grills, assisting in the repair shop, stocking inventory etc, depending on qualifications
• Demonstrate Sunshine Ace’s famous customer service

About You

• Ability to safely load, unload and move products in an efficient manner and in the customer’s best interest
• Ability to assemble grills and other items
• Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
• Able to navigate driving conditions in adverse weather in a safe manner
• Ability to frequently lift heavy items up to 40 pounds unassisted (above 40 pounds using team lift or equipment)
• Ability to operate various types of vehicles including a box delivery truck
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time and to bend, twist, squat
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
