Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, safe store environment.

You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, following procedures, and communicating clearly with shoppers and team members. This part-time position offers opportunities to learn retail operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Stock merchandise and recover aisles as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Keep store clean and presentable, including bathrooms.
• Communicate professionally with customers, associates, and leaders.
