Job summary

PostNet in Houston is seeking a friendly Retail Customer Service Representative to assist customers with shipping, printing, and other store services, and to operate the point‑of‑sale system. You will upsell and cross‑sell, handle inquiries by phone, email, or in person, support inventory, and maintain Center standards while providing reliable, cheerful service.

Qualifications

• Retail customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Translate customer requirements into final products or services.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Multitasking to process multiple tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organization.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Windows, and other computer hardware/software.
• Able to work flexible hours.
• Some supervisory skills preferred.
• Notary Public certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with shipping and packaging services, printing estimates/orders, and other services offered by franchise owner.
• Assists customers with their product and service need in person, through email, and by phone.
• Processes customer sales through the point-of-sale system.
• Up-sells, cross-sells, and participates in marketing/promotional initiatives.
• Opens and closes the center, cash register, and other center systems.
• Assists management in maintaining, ordering, and stocking inventory.
• Maintains the center consistent with established standards.
• Interacts with couriers, other vendors, and all store staff.
• Sorts and deposits mail in private mailboxes.
• Captures, completes tasks, and organizes Virtual Mail.
