Job summary

Dollar Tree in Smyrna, GA is seeking a friendly Customer Service Associate II who helps keep the store inviting while supporting daily operations, from checkout to merchandising. You will be cross-trained to assist at the cash register, stock shelves, and maintain clean, safe spaces; the role requires reliability, strong communication, teamwork, and a can-do attitude.

In this role you will assist with front-end duties as needed, handle transactions, and contribute to a positive shopping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent movement and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.
• High level of integrity is required.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting is required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Managing sales transactions while working the assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
