Job summary

Michaels Petaluma is seeking a Store Associate to help customers, stock shelves, and run the register in a fast-paced retail environment. You will engage shoppers, support omnichannel services, and maintain attractive, in-stock merchandise throughout the store.

The role involves helping customers find items, participating in rewards enrollments, and following store policies with a focus on safety and courtesy. Weekend and early-morning hours are possible in this climate-controlled setting.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling
• Engage customers in Rewards program enrollments and Private Label Credit Cards
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, and maintain planograms
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain in-stock conditions
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies
