Job summary

Michaels in Petaluma, CA is seeking a Store Associate to help customers with framing solutions, process transactions, and keep the store inviting and well merchandised. You will greet customers, assist with product selection, and support Omni channel processes to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

The role relies on basic measuring and computer skills, plus the ability to operate framing equipment. Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs; ensure policy compliance.
• Assist customers in finding framing solutions and complete orders on time.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop and locate products.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions to standards.
• Support Omni channel processes and truck unload/stocking as needed.
