Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle sales transactions, and help maintain a secure, welcoming store environment.

This part-time role requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, stock merchandise, unload trucks, clean restrooms, and provide joyful, professional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and handle repetitive physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; good problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
