Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Michigan LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and maintain store cleanliness and stock levels.

The role requires strong customer service skills, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and reliable teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. Part-time opportunities and progressive responsibilities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, food service, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register and protect cash assets.
• Keep the store stocked, recover merchandise, and unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and restock bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall store appearance.
• Provide a safe, respectful environment with professional interactions across customers and team members.
• Other duties as assigned by store leadership.
