Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Avon, IN to help with daily store operations, merchandising, and customer assistance. You will cross-train to support the cash register and front-end duties as needed, while keeping a clean, welcoming environment for shoppers.

Responsibilities include receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring floor cleanliness, and handling transactions with accuracy. A strong focus on service, integrity, teamwork, and safety is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity and basic math proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight in a safe manner in accordance with productivity standards.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Assisting with cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste management.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment while interacting with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Managing sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
