Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions at the register, and maintaining store cleanliness and merchandise levels.

The role requires strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills, with physical duties including lifting 30–50 lbs and frequent walking. Part-time opportunities available with a focus on teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
