Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is hiring for a part-time retail associate at our Payette, Idaho location. You will assist customers, process transactions at the register, and help stock and maintain store cleanliness. You will work to ensure a safe, friendly environment while supporting merchandise replenishment and unloading as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior customer service experience is preferred. Lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred across retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing and lifting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect assets.
• Stock shelves and recover merchandise; unload trucks.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restroom upkeep.
• Provide a safe, respectful environment and friendly interactions.
• Other duties as assigned.
