Job summary

Family Dollar LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our Rigby, Idaho location and deliver a positive shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and professional interactions with customers and staff. Part-time position with opportunities to contribute to various store duties and initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, and lifting

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
