Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is hiring a Customer Service Associate in the United States. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and organized.

The role emphasizes safe, friendly interactions and adherence to store policies and procedures. The position requires minimal formal education beyond a high school diploma and may involve lifting up to 50 lbs and physical tasks such as stocking and cleaning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or related fields is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
