Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our retail team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

In this role you will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, keep the store stocked and clean, unload trucks, and support safety and loss prevention while maintaining friendly, professional interactions with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and meet demands of frequent walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
