Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales and cash register duties, protect assets, and ensure store cleanliness and stock replenishment.

The role includes unloading merchandise and maintaining a safe environment for customers and staff. The position requires basic education and prior customer service experience; physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs and long periods of standing and walking are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
