Job summary

Dollar Tree seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain cash security, stock shelves, receive merchandise, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe. This is a part-time role requiring excellent customer service and strong communication.

You should be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and following store procedures while providing friendly service to guests and supporting team leaders.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, and lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while on cash register
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues
• Keep store clean including bathrooms; sweep and mop floors; take out trash
• Perform other duties as assigned
