Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time retail associate to assist customers, handle sales at the register, and maintain a clean, well-stocked store in Florida. The role requires lifting 30–50 lbs, standing for long periods, and providing friendly customer service.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, restocking, ensuring security of cash, and performing other duties as assigned to support store operations and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
