Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, manage store cleanliness, stock, and safety, and support loading/unloading duties daily.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, organizational and communication skills, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. This is a part-time on-site position in Holmdel, NJ with opportunities for growth and employee-friendly perks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness in the store, including restrooms, floors, and waste disposal.
• Other duties as assigned.
