Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain clean, safe store conditions.

This role requires strong communication and friendly interactions with customers and team members. Experience in retail or similar environments is preferred; lifting 30–50 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
• Able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and multi-task regularly.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise as needed.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Keep store clean, including bathrooms, floors, and trash disposal.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
