Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, and help maintain a clean, organized store.

You should be reliable, able to lift up to 50 lbs, follow instructions, and communicate clearly with customers and teammates. This role is part-time and requires a customer-first attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store areas neat and presentable, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
