Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and help deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist with questions, manage transactions at the register, and keep the store clean and well-stocked.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or service experience is preferred, and you must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods. The role includes benefits like retirement plans and educational assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and waste.
• Other duties as assigned.
