The Store Consultant consistently delivers a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives, and provide solutions. This customer service-focused team member is knowledgeable in all areas of the Store's business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. They will be responsible for taking orders, coordinating activities in the Store, providing pricing and product information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services. The Store Consultant will operate and maintain a wide variety of equipment, move boxes and equipment, stock materials, manage the production queue and output, manage complex projects, manage retail supply, and complete assigned tasks based on priority.
Responsibilities
- Follow supervisor instructions and assist other team members in store functions.
- Train store team members as needed.
- Demonstrate consultative behaviors to understand and meet customer needs.
- Provide expertise in printing, signs & graphics, and shipping, recommending suitable products and services.
- Ensure excellent customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
- Take complex orders, provide accurate pricing, and prepare parcels for shipping.
- Operate printing, binding, and related equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
Profit and Confidentiality
- Handle customer data and documents with confidentiality.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including handling cash.
- Maintain and repair store equipment and supplies.
- Ensure proper display and merchandising of products.
- Prevent errors and waste proactively.
- Complete financial paperwork and assist with reporting.
- Adhere to operational, legal, HR, safety, and security policies.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of specialized experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
