Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate II in Scranton to deliver friendly service, process transactions, and help customers with questions while maintaining store standards.

You will unload merchandise, stock shelves, clean areas, and ensure safety and security of cash and assets. This part-time role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintaining security of cash and protecting company assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
