Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help shoppers with questions, make recommendations, and process transactions at the register. You will deliver a friendly, efficient checkout experience and help protect store assets.

Additionally, you’ll stock and recover merchandise, unload trucks, keep aisles tidy, clean restrooms, and ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and team members. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and perform frequent movement.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Ensure cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, and common areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
