Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role emphasizes friendly interactions, safety, and efficiency, with opportunities to contribute to a positive team environment and support store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail or similar field preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operations documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
