Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, maintain store safety and cleanliness, restock shelves, and help unload merchandise from trucks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep store clean, bathrooms stocked, floors swept and mopped, trash taken out, and areas neat and presentable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
