Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help customers with questions and recommendations and to manage transactions at the cash register, delivering a great shopping experience.

You will assist with stocking, receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, maintaining store cleanliness, and upholding a safe, friendly environment for customers, associates, and leaders. This part-time role at 401 S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
