Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in High Point, NC. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help stock shelves while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, replenishing stock, and delivering friendly service. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful store environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
