Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver an exceptional shopping experience in a retail setting. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, stock shelves, and help unload merchandise while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, retail service experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle standing, walking, ascending/descending operations.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
Other duties as assigned.
