Job summary

Family Dollar in Dallas, TX is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help keep the store well-stocked and orderly.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a part-time position with varied shifts across our Dallas store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
