Job summary

Family Dollar in Fort Davis, TX seeks a Customer Service Associate to provide a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness. This is a part-time role requiring strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness, restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
