Job summary

Family Dollar in Center, Texas is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain store cleanliness while supporting store leaders.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and prior customer service experience. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and communicate effectively to help customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment per productivity standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Keep store clean, restock bathrooms, sweep/mop floors, take out trash, keep areas neat.
• Other duties as assigned.
