Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate in Columbia, TN to deliver a positive shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock merchandise, unload trucks, and maintain store cleanliness while ensuring safety and professional interactions with customers and teammates.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions. Part-time, on-site position with responsibilities across store operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
