Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Ohio LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Colorado to deliver friendly service, handle transactions, and keep the store organized and safe. You will assist customers, stock shelves, unload shipments, and maintain cleanliness throughout the store while following store procedures.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with opportunities to grow within the company and participate in benefits programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
