Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to help create a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, ring up transactions, stock shelves, and keep areas clean.

This role requires a friendly, reliable team member who can lift up to 50 lbs, follow instructions, and communicate effectively. The position offers growth in a fast-paced retail environment and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service in retail/hospitality or similar is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical duties as required.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
